This is an amazing sight that only happens once a year. The seals arrive in good numbers, coming inland to give birth to their pups. It’s wonderfully managed by the Lincolnshire wildlife trust so that the animals are well protected and undisturbed but the mums and pups come right up to the fencing, allowing some fantastic photographic opportunities.
We set off early morning to avoid the crowds of visitors that arrive later in the day, and having all arrived around the same time there was the usual fun and banter as a good variety of cameras came out, from top named brands to bridge cameras and camera phones.
We were truly blessed when the sun came out and allowed us some amazing light on these beautiful animals and everyone went home happy.
